Documents required for the Dubai work permit

This is because considering you are working there, this will become your residency for the duration you will work there. These residency visas allow you to be in the country for about 2 to 3 years. There are different types of the residency visas. They are depended on how long the contract you get is. There are several documents required to get the work permit visa. These include passport photos, a fully filled out application form, original and a copy of the passport, valid company card, health certificate, valid commercial license for the company. Fees for acquiring the different work permits in Dubai
The process of application and acquiring all the documents is completed at the counter while receiving the documents. This is regardless of whether the process was online or manual. The transaction fee for an online work permit in UAE is AED 200 no matter the category the application is for. For the approval of this online application a fee id different depending on the category i.e.
- For category A the fee is AED 1000
- For category B – AED2000
- For category C- AED3000
Waiting period after application of the wok permit
After the application, the applicant waits for about 2 months before getting the work permit approved. After this, the applicant is also issued with an ID to use in the country rather than using their own passport. Once the permit is almost expired, the applicant can apply for an extension so as to extend their stay in the country. For a 10 day extension, the fee is AED500.
